Palestinian President Pins Oman’s Chargé d'Affairs with Merit Medal

Ramallah, 14 Jul --- President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine today pinned the Medal of Merit and Distinction on Salim Habib Al Omairi, Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Palestine.

This took place when the President of Palestine received the Chargé d’Affaires at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty.

The medal was awarded to Al Omairi in recognition of his distinguished role in strengthening fraternal relations and cooperation between the two countries. It also comes in appreciation for his efforts in supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause to gain freedom and independence.
