Foreign Minister, Iranian Counterpart Discuss Regional Developments

Muscat, 1 Aug (ONA) --- Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, today received a phone call from Ali Bagheri Kani, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The two ministers exchanged views about the latest developments in the region and the serious escalation resulting from Israel's stubbornness and persistent brutal aggression against the defenseless Palestinian people. The telephonic conversation also dealt with terrorist operations and political assassinations that Israel is carrying out to exhaust efforts of de-escalation, cease fire and establishing peace.

The two sides stressed that the international community is required to take all necessary measures to deter the heinous Israeli actions that disrespect all international norms and violate all laws. They urged the international community to hold this aggressor accountable for its sinful deeds.
