Murder Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 52,908
Gaza, 13 May (ONA) --- The murder toll from the genocidal war and aggression waged by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip since 7 October 2023, has risen to 52,908 martyrs, in addition to 119,721 wounded.
Local sources said that the murder toll includes 2,780 martyrs and 7,680 injuries since 18 March 2025, when the occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement.
Over the past 24 hours, 46 martyrs arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals, including 31 new martyrs, 15 martyrs who were recovered, and 73 injured.
A number of victims remain under the rubble and debris, and on the streets, as ambulances and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on 18 March 2025, after a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that entered into force on 19 January 2025. However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire over the two months, as it continued its bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in martyrs and wounded, and refused to implement the humanitarian protocol, and tightened its stifling siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
