Muscat, Feb 23 (ONA) --- A diploma on “News Sources and How to Deal with Them” began at the Ministry of Information today. Eight employees from the Ministry of Information are taking part in the ten-day diploma.
 
            The diploma is organized by the Ministry of Information, in cooperation with Ma’rif Al Ulum Center for Higher Education and Training Services, aims to introduce press sources and their role in reporting news, and the importance of diversifying sources to access accurate information. The diploma also addresses types of sources in general and how to deal with them.
          The diploma seeks to provide the participants with the skills of dealing with press sources and enabling them to work within press groups and focusing on the humanitarian dimensions and themes when reporting the event, in addition to editing the content and the basic components of media news.
