Al-Nahda, Oman Coaches Affirm Teams' Readiness for HM Cup’s Final
Muscat, 12 Feb 2026 (ONA) --- The press conference for the final match of His Majesty the Sultan's Cup for football for the 2025/2026 sports season was held today, bringing together Oman Club and Al-Nahda Club ahead of their clash this Saturday at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bowsher.

Moroccan coach Idriss Al Mrabet, manager of Oman Club, stated that his team harbors great ambition to claim the title, acknowledging the difficulty of the encounter against Al-Nahda Club, which has gained considerable experience in recent years and possesses a group of seasoned players.
He explained that the team enters the final with complete physical readiness, with preparations in recent days focusing more heavily on the mental and psychological aspects.
Meanwhile, player Mohammed Al Maashari said that His Majesty the Sultan's Cup final represents a significant milestone in any player's career, carrying great moral and historical value. He emphasized that the most crucial factor at this stage is balanced motivation for players, avoiding overexcitement that might negatively impact concentration, affirming that entering the match with a clear mindset and high focus is decisive in managing its intricate details.
On his turn, Portuguese coach André Gasmese, manager of Al-Nahda Club, stated that everyone recognizes the importance of this match, where chances are evenly balanced between the two teams. It is the most significant fixture of the sports season, and he expects a high-level, competitive encounter—an opportunity for both sides to showcase their best, he added.

Player Ahmed Al Kaabi of Al-Nahda Club stated that this match carries great national value and represents an honor for every player.
