Barka, Jan.02 (ONA) ---- The Royal Horse Racing Club organized today the ninth race for the current season, on the Al Rahba horse racing track in the Wilayat of Barka.  The race was held under the patronage of A'mir bin Thani al- Nasiri, Director General of Human Resources at the Royal Court Affairs.  The race included eight rounds, six of which were devoted to purebred Arabian horses, and two races to purebred hybrid horses.  Their results were as follows:
   The first round :Jabal Kour Race for purebred Arabian horses (local production) for a distance of 1200 meters.  The first place was won by horse / Nimr Muscat / owned by Mohammad bin Salim al- Salmi, ridden by Amir bin Ali al- Rasbi and trained by Ahmed bin Khamis al- Yazidi. 
   The second round: Jabal Shams Race for purebred hybrid horses for a distance of 1200 meters.  The first place went to the horse / Old Fashioned / owned by Majid bin Ali al-Ma’amari, ridden by Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman, and trained by Mohammed bin Salim al-Siyabi. 
   The third round, Jabal Samhan Race for purebred Arabian horses (local production) for a distance of 1600 meters.  The first place was won by the mare / Jaziat Muscat /, owned by the Muscat Stable, ridden by Yousef bin Saleh al-Ajmi and trained by Said bin Khamis al-Hinai. 
   The fourth round: Al Jabal Al Akhdhar Race for the purebred Arabian horses for a distance of 1600 meters.  The first place was won by the horse / Glory and Fame HF, owned by Najah bint Abdullah al-Riyamiyah, ridden by Abdullah bin Hamad al-Sawaei and trained by Abdullah bin Sulaiman al-Farsi.
   The Fifth round Jabal Al Hawa Race for purebred Arabian horses for a distance of 1600 meters.  The first place was won by the horse / RB Kinsman, owned by Sayyid Saud bin Harib al- Said, ridden by Munis bin Salim al-Siyabi, and trained by Ahmed bin Ibrahim al -Balushi. 
   The Sixth Round: Jabal Misht Race for purebred hybrid horses for a distance of 1600 meters.  The first place went to the horse / Falcon's view /, owned and trained by Saud bin Abdullah al- Balushi and ridden by Shakir bin Ali al- Balushi.
   The seventh round: Jabal Al Qamar Race for purebred hybrid horse for the distance of 1600 meters.  The first place was won by the horse / Derby de Faust /, owned by Royal Oman Police, ridden by Amir bin Ali al-Rasbi and trained by Mohammad bin Salim al-Siyabi. 
   The eighth round : Jabal Madha Race for purebred Arabian horses for a distance of 1800 meters.  The first place was won by the horse / Rasi /, owned by Musallam bin Ali Qatan, ridden by Mohammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman, and trained by Sulaiman bin Salim al-Ghunaimi.
   At the end of the race, Amir bin Thani al-Nasiri, Director General of Human Resources in the Royal Court Affairs, honored the owners of the winner horses of the first three places in each round.
