Muscat, Jan 19 (ONA) --- Oman Football Association (OFA) has appointed Branko Ivanković as the new coach who, along with his technical team, oversee Oman National Football Team's training.

         The decision was taken during a meeting held by OFA today under the auspices of Salim bin Said al-Wahaibi, OFA Chairman.

          Branko Ivanković, 65, is a Croatian professional football manager and former player. He previously coached the Iranian national team and various clubs in Europe and Asia, including Dinamo Zaghreb of Croatia, Hanover of Germany, Persepolis club of Iran, Al Ittifaq Club of Saudi Arabia and Shandong L. of China.
